Earlier that evening, I’d learned that a member of the extended family was \u2014 good news \u2014 alive, conscious, and home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not good news \u2014 a vehicle had hit another vehicle, which hit another \u2014 and eventually the kinetic energy was transferred to the one he was in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He became conscious about a half-hour later, I gather. The concussion has left him with (best-case scenario) vertigo that keeps him from walking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But, hey: he’s alive.<\/em><\/strong> And he’s another person whose specific concerns are going into my daily prayer routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I’m writing this Tuesday evening, February 6, in central Minnesota.
