If not, I trust that you&#8217;re having a good November 24th. And 23rd, too, of course. Enjoy the weekend, while you&#8217;re at it. Within reason, of course.<\/p>\n<p>Some folks write sober monographs for this holiday, thoroughly discussing the myriad reasons we have for being thankful.<\/p>\n<p>Others present schmaltzy pieces on the same topic: about as deep as a rain puddle.<\/p>\n<p>I have a great deal to be thankful for. We all do. Just existing is a whole lot better than the alternative. Add to that the hope for something even better: and anything else is gravy.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think the two turkeys would appreciate that expression, and that&#8217;s another topic. Topics.
